My Story
Made with love for craftsmanship
I am a seamstress and entrepreneur for whom craftsmanship is much more than just a job – it is a way of life. Sewing has been part of my life for many years, and through it I have learned to value care, durability, and beautifully made work.
I founded Ompelimo Kaunis Ommel in 2011. Over the years, I have worked on countless garments – making small repairs, restoring beloved favourite pieces, and creating entirely new garments based on my customers’ wishes. Each piece has taught me something, but the most rewarding part has always been seeing the joy on a customer’s face when a garment fits perfectly.
A dream I live through my hands every day.
Evening and wedding dresses are especially close to my heart. They often carry great meaning and emotion, which is why I approach every piece with care and respect. It is an honour for me to be part of my customers’ important moments.
My background in clothing repairs has strongly shaped my values. I believe that garments should be repaired and worn for a long time. It is a responsible choice for both the environment and your budget. Well-made work stands the test of time.
